Position Summary

Master Data Specialist position profile is set to ensure our Tornos Group organization is equipped with the right set of process and system data across different databases. In order to be successful in this role it is essential to demonstrate extreme focus on details, qualitative and quantitative information and be able to apply the interlinks between all sets of data, understand impacts, where data is stored and how its quality influence particular steps of each business process. This role is purely administrative and focuses on attention to details, scrupulous and analytical attitude

Main Responsibilities

Responsible for providing high level quality and accurate information for business purpose, processes and decisions with respect to business standards and requirements
Take ownership for respective business master database ensure data consistency and transparency
Understand interlinks between different master data and know key data users work on data across all Tornos processes
Ensure data availability in order to support business processes
Support other business teams in daily activities
Support the creation and further execution of data management model

Key tasks

Plan and execute regular process of data update and upgrade / installed base machine database/
Create new equipment
Update BOMs
Execute regular master date audits to ensure data is accurate, updated and consistent
Monitor of data quality and consistency
Performing continuous analysis to support business decisions
Identifying opportunities to improve data management
Execute regular business reporting
Other ad-hoc management requests

Economics / business / administrative bachelor or master degree
